Talking to Amazon S3 from XPages

After playing around with the iTextPDF library a few weeks ago I was wondering how easy it would be to use a few other java libraries with XPages and in particular I was interested in looking at the Amazon S3 service to store files for my fileSendr project on OpenNTF.

    @David: download Bildr from OpenNTF and you’ll have some excellent examples of how to create thumbnails/ resize images uploaded using XPages.

    We are currently using reCaptcha, Freemarker, Memcached (with ehCache instead where Memcached is not installed), Twitter , going to use imgscalr, all from xPages. Btw, imgscalr (http://www.thebuzzmedia.com/software/imgscalr-java-image-scaling-library/) looks like a really good java solution for image scaling. I will use this to replace our current LS2J from WebQuerySave solution very soon.
