I told my wife about this post the other day. She was practically jumping up and down trying to talk me into taking the job (background – we live near Boston MA, USA, but we visit Ireland every couple of years, and my wife has dual citizenship). But then reality intruded (), when I reminded her she’d have to get re-licensed (she’s a pediatrician), we’d have to take our 18-month old out of a daycare that she loves, and we’d lose the easy baby sitting we get from the grandmothers who live nearby. Her response was basically, “but, but, but…” Ahhh, temptation…
