Desert Island Websites

Jake over at CodeStore.net has been playing Desert Island Websites where you have to name the 5 websites you would choose to be able to view if you were ever marooned on a desert island. Well I had a good long think about it and I have come up with my favorite five…

The only question is where would you plug the compter in 🙂

Introducing BlogSphere

I’ve been working hard on the new Blog template and with the help of an instant message chat with Bruce Elgort I have eventually decided on a name and logo for the template. I’m nearly finished cleaning up all the code and getting it into shape. If there are any CSS wizards out there who would like to create a few default styles for the template then give me a shout.

BlogSphere has been born and will be available for public download at the end of this month. I’m looking forward to all your thoughts, comments and enhancement requests once it’s available.

MSN Messenger Is Go Go Go

I’ve been busy this weekend working on the MSN problem and I think I have it finally working. But I’d like to thank whoever it was that did a google search for "BC5946FC3B28". It showed up in my referer logs and doing the same search showed me three sites including my own. One of the other two sites was a modification for PHP-Nuke that basically added the functionality that I was looking for.

So here it is for everybody to see. It’s a nice simple script, it uses JavaScript so should run on most platforms and has a few safety catches so if the user doesn’t have MSN Messenger installed or logged in it won’t do anything or cause javascript errors.

I need a name…

Ok, I’m getting ready to release the first version of this template, not everything is completed yet and I still have a load of features I want to add but I think I’ll leave them till version 2. I’m targeting the release date for the end of March.

But before I can release the template I need a name… All suggestions welcome..
